The Dueling Dragons at Universal's Islands of Adventure are the World's First Duel Inverted Dueling Coasters.  This section of my website is dedicated to the Dueling Dragons, and will include recent news, facts, rumors and more!
bulletRecent Dueling Dragons News: -

(November 12, 2003)- Due to lots of lost items in recent months, Dueling Dragons no longer allows any kind of loose article on the ride. Water bottles, Cameras, Backpacks, Cell Phones, Souvenir Bags, Stuffed Animals, all must now be placed in the lockers adjacent to Dueling Dragons, which are FREE for the first 45 minutes.  Sorry for the inconvenience!

(November 10, 2003)- Technicians began refurbishing Train #2 on both Fire and Ice sides.  Like Train #1, these trains will run smoother and quieter and sport a new paint job.  These Trains should be back in operation by the beginning of Grinchmas which is November 23.

(October 2, 2003)- Technicians finished refurbishing Train #1 on both the Fire and Ice sides.  These "new" trains will ride smoother and quieter, and will sport a brand new paint job.  This refurbishment took 2 months.

(October 21, 2003)- The Dueling Dragons were named the #14 Steel Coaster in the World by the American Amusement Association at their annual convention in Washington D.C.  In addition, the Dueling Dragons were named the #1 Themed Attraction in the World for 2003 at the same convention.  Congrats Dueling Dragons!
